When the developer and builder parted ways mid-build on a Shenton Park development, an eastern states-based builder called upon Boss Group to step in and assist in completing the project. Taking full ownership of a massive, multi-faceted scope, we provided everything from site supervision to final finishes.

Our delivered scope included controlled demolition, ceiling and wall fixing, external soffit linings, wall cladding, second-fix carpentry, timber flooring, and the supply and installation of cabinetry throughout. Additionally, our teams handled timber linings, mastic work, concrete grinding, general labouring, and site supervision to keep the program moving. Since handover, we have remained on-site for the developer, managing ongoing maintenance and the defect liability period works.

During 2022 and 2023, when construction resources across WA were at their most stretched, we delivered 41 prefabricated timber frame homes in Jolimont within 14 months. Our crews held telehandler licences and self-managed the unloading, staging and installation of all prefabricated panels, taking that coordination off the site team entirely. We also completed all second-fix works, supplied and installed feature timber balustrades, handrails, external seating and pergolas, and managed all external cladding across the full development.

What started as a fire door enquiry turned into a $4 million combined carpentry and ceiling contract. The heritage-era 121-room hotel required approximately 150 non-compliant door frames to be cut out of concrete walls and replaced with fire-rated installations, alongside feature ceiling works across lobby areas on every level. Working within an existing building with tight site access, our crews coordinated closely with other trades throughout the refurbishment to keep the program moving.

West to West engaged Boss Group WA on a full supply and install basis across their multi-residential development, spanning 87 apartments, 11 townhouses, and a premium penthouse fit-out.

Our team delivered the scope across the entire development, including the procurement and installation of fire doors, internal doors, cavity sliders, timber handrails, skirtings, and hardware.
